SNL Score: Lindsay Lohan set to host Saturday Night Live

Lindsay Lohan hasn’t had an actual acting job in a while…
But, she has a big opportunity in the works – she’s been asked to host Saturday Night Live on March 3rd, 2012.
The most pressing question about Lindsay’s SNL hosting gig isn’t what she’ll wear or what antics she’ll pull….it’s…why? Lohan doesn’t have film, music, or other projects to promote at the present time.
She’s sure gotten enough press over the last few years — but hasn’t actually had much going on professionally. (Unless, of course, you count the Marilyn-esque Playboy cover and spread.) Most attention paid to Lohan had to do with her legal woes and personal shortcomings.
One would hope that her career has been on hiatus in order to straighten out her personal life. Maybe, just maybe, hosting SNL will help her on her long road to redemption.
So, what do you think — could this be Lindsay’s “comeback” moment? Is she cleaning up her act? Or is the concept of Lohan hosting SNL just plain ridiculous?
